Fight Amputation: Local noise punk/hardcore/sludge metal purveyors fresh off the road and now supporting their southern brothers and ex tour mates Weedeater on a one-off on their home turf. Fight Amp have been chugging along for over 9 years spreading their own brand of genre-bending punk/noise-rock throughout the country and world, taking notes from early Melvins and blending it with the speed of Karp and heaviness of Cherubs while maintaining the intensity of a hardcore band. First and possibly ONLY Philly show of 2013!

OLD WOUNDS: NJ/Philly based hardcore/punk. Blending first wave hardcore (Black Flag) with late 90s/early 2000s east coast hardcore/metal (Deadguy), Old Wounds is on the rise on not to be missed.
Weedeater: With a sound and presence like no other band in the world, Weedeater stand apart from all others, both live and on their recordings. Their unfiltered and unrefined energy surges uncontrollably through the band and anyone who bears witness to their live show. Spite and deep resentment somehow fuse with comedy and maximum volume to produce an indignant, vomitous (both figuratively and sometimes literally) performance that is forced upon the willing yet hapless crowd. You are instantly swallowed whole by both Dixie and Shep's nearly indistinguishable monster bass and guitar tones, and you are absolutely beaten to a bloody pulp and scared for your life by Keko's crazed, yet amazingly potent bashing of his kit; with sticks that look like tree trunks turning into a splintered mess by the end of every song. Pure, unabashed, musical violence in every form. It's real, and it's dangerous, and it feels so damn good.
Sourvein: With vengeance in their eyes, and fire coursing through their veins, the Southern warriors known as Sourvein have overcome all obstacles to deliver a TRUE DOOM masterpiece to the starving. Sourvein are not new-comers to the heavy music scene. They have been strangling blood from a stone across the Dirty South for over 5 years. Pure raw emotion...from the heart...from the ghetto by the sea.rn
Sunburster: Heavy, sludgy metal inspired by bands such as Black Sabbath and Sleep, with, 'contact highs, crushing lows'.
Skeleton Hands: Fast, loud punk metal following in the footsteps of Danzig and the Misfits
Black tusk: The Savannah scene has produced so many great bands you'd be excused for thinking that sludge is in the water there, but there's no excuse for overlooking BLACK TUSK. Comparisons of 'Taste The Sin' to bands BLACK TUSK considers brothers only tell part of the tale; the band's sophomore release and first for Relapse Records rips into you with locomotive riffing and powerful percussion, creating a furious display that incorporates the fury of punk and the precision of thrash metal within a familiar Southern-fried landscape.
Gates of Slumber: No description given
Struck by Lightning: Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, STRUCK BY LIGHTNING features Gregory Lahm (previously of Mouth Of The Architect) on vocals and guitars, accompanying by Travis Kline, Mike Leach and John Peters. Encompassing the aggression and punk slathering of His Hero Is Gone and Disfear with the progressive rock acrobatics of Mastodon and Big Business, STRUCK BY LIGHTNING create ferocious and hairsplitting aggression that will undoubtedly take the world by storm. rn
